This heavy-duty industrial hand ratchet puller/hoist has two-ton and three-ton capacity (dead lift rating). It is of solid ductile and malleable iron construction. Extra heavy-duty 5/16" Amsteel Blue® synthetic rope. More built-in safety factors than other brands. Easily field repairable and inexpensive to maintain. Lasts for generations.
*Model 3-20 (the 3-ton unit) is identical to the 2-ton units with the exception of a larger and stronger tackle block hook and stronger handle.
**Pull-drag ratings are for comparison only. Winches and a few pullers are rated this way. Although there are too many variables (i.e., mud, snow, paved surface, slope, type of object being dragged) to determine a scientific drag-pull rating, the commonly used ratio is 2:1.
Manufacturer Note:
For many years, people have wanted synthetic rope on their puller. Someone once said that if we put synthetic rope on The More Power Puller®, and had a longer handle to make it easier to use, we would have the perfect come-along. The synthetic rope is finally available and we are in the process of developing an extension handle. MADE IN USA
